N-formylkynurenine (Kyn) is an intermediate in the catabolism of
tryptophan by enzymes such as indolamine 2,3-dioxygenases (IDO1 & IDO2) and
tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase (TDO). It is a formylated derivative of kynurenine and
exhibits an absorption peak at = 321 nm.
