Biotinylation reagent with Hydrazide, and a 3 PEG spacer. Reacts with aldehydes at pH 4 to 6. Can be used to label glycoproteins and other carbohydrate-containing compounds that have oxidizable sugars or aldehydes. Can also be used to biotinylate carboxyl groups. Popular label for antibodies, as the glycosylation sites are on the Fc region of the protein.
