The immunogen for the anti-h-Cyclin D2 was a his-tagged recombinant full length Cyclin D2 protein recognizing a 34 kD protein. Cyclin D2 is a G1 cyclin required for a G1 phase progression. Like Cyclin D1, it is activated by the same mechanisms. It is well suited for neutralization of Cyclin D2 activity in vivo.
