CD2 FITC is used for the identification of human T cells and subset of NK cells associated with the receptor for sheep erythocytes rosettes expressing the 45-50,000 M.W. surface antigen. HLA-DR PE is used for the identification of human B cell and T cell subsets associated with approximately 10% of peripheral blood lymphocytes 28-34,000 M.W. surface antigen, and is present in low density on monocytes and macrophages.
