Mirus Bio LLC
Transfection of nucleic acid into
eukaryotic cells is a critical step in many experiments from
gene expression studies to RNAi mediated gene knockdown.
In order to obtain physiologically meaningful data, the
transfection reagent should not affect the cell's physiology. To
address this, Mirus Bio developed the TransIT®
transfection reagents for the delivery of all types of nucleic
acids including DNA, siRNA, duplex miRNA, mRNA, viral RNA and
oligonucelotides to eukaryotic cells. The significant
benefits of this technology include:
The LabelIT® Technology is a
non-enzymatic chemical labeling method that facilitates the
direct covalent attachment of non-radioactive labels and
functional groups to DNA and RNA using an efficient one-step
chemical reaction. It has been further optimised by Mirus
to give the benefits of:
-
Directly and Covalently label
native or synthetic RNA/DNA of any length from any species
-
Chemical labeling eliminates
enzymatic incorporation and replication bias
-
Fast and simple one-step
reaction
-
Cost effective
