Mart Microbiology
Mart Microbiology was set up in
1982 and developed the world-recognised Anoxomat system for
culturing of anaerobic and microaerophilic organisms.
Comparative tests between the Anoxomat system and
other methods have been carried out at internationally
recognized institutes, with the Anoxomat often producing
superior results. Since its development, the Anoxomat system has
been further refined. Responding to changing laboratory needs
and user feedback, Mart Microbiology decided to redesign the
Anoxomat system, combining 20 years of accumulated experience
and modern techniques.
In 2003 this resulted in the development of the
Anoxomat Mark II.In
2007, the company was acquired by the US company,
Advanced Instruments, to
complement their range of microbiology plating and counting
instruments.
